    • Affirming qualified immunity dismissal of suit against warden for allegedly keeping inmate imprisoned 52 days longer than his term, and affirming summary judgment in favor of sheriff who had been sued in his individual, rather than official, capacity.
  • Thomas v. Abebe, 20-10224, appeal from N.D. Tex.
    • per curiam (King, Smith, Wilson), amendment, fraud
    • Affirming 12(b)(6) dismissal of complaint for fraud and breach of due process against siblings for selling plaintiff’s mother’s house while he was in prison, denial of discovery hearing, and denial of motion to amend complaint.
